Only very rarely are managing directors and board members faced with the decision as to whether they need an auditor. Rather, in most cases the question arises as to which auditing company should be given the job. Above all, it is important to weigh up whether you should choose a well-known large company whose name alone inspires awe in investors, or whether you should hire a smaller auditing company that does not treat you down or only sends the next generation of professionals over. Before I set up my own Goldstein Consulting GmbH twenty years ago, I was a partner in one of the “Big Four” corporations and therefore know both worlds only too well.<\/p>

1.<\/span> Rapid auditing through prepared documents<\/h3>

Together with your employees, I prepare the exam and make sure that all documents are optimally prepared so that the exam can be carried out as quickly as possible.<\/p>

2.<\/span> Disagreements Anticipate – Counterarguments Prepared<\/h3>

Should circumstances arise in the run-up to the audit that the auditor might notice, I will develop a suitable strategy with you in advance and prepare appropriate arguments. If necessary, I will also prepare your accounting staff for problematic questions from the auditor.<\/p>

3.<\/span> Auditing observation<\/h3>

During the audit, I will make sure that the auditor checks correctly and does not interpret the room for maneuver to your detriment. I do not see myself as an impartial arbiter, but as an advocate of the interests of your company. Should misunderstandings arise, we research relevant fundamental decisions and mediate.<\/p>

4.<\/span> Critical review and editing of the draft report<\/h3>

As soon as the commissioned auditor delivers the draft of the audit report, I will critically review it for the correct presentation of the facts and filter out ambiguous formulations or formulations that are potentially detrimental to your company. Even problematic facts can be formulated in the audit report in such a way that the reader does not get the wrong impression.<\/p>

5.<\/span> Defense against unjustified additional fee claims<\/h3>

Should there be an additional fee demand, I will question it critically and \u2013 if unjustified \u2013 try to reduce it.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
