Only very rarely are managing directors and board members faced with the decision as to whether they need an auditor. Rather, in most cases the question arises as to which auditing company should be given the job. Above all, it is important to weigh up whether you should choose a well-known large company whose name alone inspires awe in investors, or whether you should hire a smaller auditing company that does not treat you down or only sends the next generation of professionals over. Before I set up my own Goldstein Consulting GmbH twenty years ago, I was a partner in one of the “Big Four” corporations and therefore know both worlds only too well.
My team and I understand the reservations that your employees have about non-employees and that normal routine suffers during an exam. Not least because of this, our audit processes are designed to capture the essentials in a concentrated manner and to keep our presence as short as possible through computer-assisted audit and documentation procedures.
